I had some concerns about my son's hearing, so took him for a checkup at Teresa Burns Hearing. Teresa was very welcoming and calm, and did a very thorough review. She explained what she was doing as she went, and went through the results in a manner that we could all understand. We will happily come back if needed in the future, and would definitely recommend to others.
Our whole family has been to see Teresa for various things over the past few years. It has always been a really positive experience, and the way she dealt with our child when they needed testing was particularly impressive. I visited Teresa Burns Hearing with my parents today. We are from Wellington and are passing through Auckland. My mother's hearing aids weren't working. We were quite worried and Teresa was very calm and supportive. Teresa diagnosed and solved the problem very quickly. She showed me how to fix them should it occur again. We are very happy with our visit to Teresa Burns Hearing and would reccomended them to everyone.

I went to Teresa Burns to have my hearing checked, as after working over 45 years in noisy industry, struggling to hear in noisy environments and having tinnitus it seemed most likely I would have hearing loss.
But no...
The tests done by super energetic Anne showed my hearing as being normal (although my listening is debatable, wow - am I now in trouble at home!) and crucially hearing aids would not assist me in any functional way.
However, I regularly use earbuds and have found it difficult to find buds that fit well. Anne introduced me to the possibility of custom sleeves for my ear canals that would mate to my favourite earbuds.
WOW, what a difference! Earbuds that are comfortable, stay put, truly isolate from environmental noise and significantly improve the quality of the audio being played.
Thank you team Teresa Burns for not selling me tech I did not need and listening to what the client actually was trying to achieve!
